About Us

The Government of Ghana (GoG) has in recent years initiated several sectoral reforms to address the challenges in agricultural productivity, forest landscapes management, and sustainable small-scale mining (SSM). The $103.36 million Ghana Landscape Restoration and Small-Scale Mining Project (GLRSSMP), a joint World Bank and Government of Ghana project under an IDA credit facility which was declared effective in January,2022, has the objective of strengthening integrated natural resource management, formalising the artisanal and Small-scale mining industry and increasing benefits to communities in targeted savannah and cocoa forest landscapes.

The Government of Ghana (GoG) through EPA and MLNR is ultimately responsible for ensuring the achievement of the objectives and outcomes of the Ghana Landscape Restoration and Small-Scale Mining Project.
